We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in the non-profit industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in documenting and managing business requirements, overseeing changes in business processes, and proposing solutions through standard analysis techniques.
Responsibilities:
• Develop Agile Scrum User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, utilizing a well-rounded generalist approach.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and document business and technical requirements.
• Effectively communicate complex business and technical concepts in both verbal and written formats, catering to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Create process diagrams, page wireframes, and/or page mock-ups when necessary to help illustrate requirements.
• Assist the Quality Assurance team in translating requirements/user stories into test scenarios and plans as needed.
• Exhibit advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and demonstrate working knowledge of various tools used in managing Agile initiatives such as Atlassian Jira, CRM, Gap Analysis, etc.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications with efficiency.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their status.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide resolutions.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Non-Profit sector.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira for project management.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Demonstrable skills in Gap Analysis to identify improvements in business processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and documentation.
• Experience in AB Testing to optimize business processes and outcomes.
• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project management.
• Familiarity with Business Process Functions within the Non-Profit sector.
• Ability to create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents.
• Experience in Claim Administration, preferably within the Non-Profit industry.
