    Responsibilities:


    • Manage and validate data for contacts in the underwriting system and customer relations management system.

    • Perform data entry tasks for new business, renewal, and mid-year policy changes; prepare mid-year policy endorsements.

    • Maintain electronic member and policy files, and related data for new business and renewal policies.

    • Coordinate with underwriters to prepare and send renewal memos and other member communications.

    • Work closely with other members of the underwriting group on renewal efforts, specifically online insurance applications, renewal worksheets, and process management.

    • Update, maintain, and prepare all policy documents for issuance and publication on website and member-specific portals.

    • Collaborate with member firms to provide Confirmations and Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and respond to other member inquiries.

    • Prepare correspondence, memoranda, charts, and project materials; distribute communications (emails, reports, etc.) to appropriate parties.

    • Maintain various underwriting reports and maintain and update underwriting guidelines as needed.

    • Undertake any other duties as assigned.

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role, preferably in the insurance industry


    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook


    • Demonstrated skills in data entry and email correspondence


    • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred


    • Familiarity with the insurance industry, including understanding of insurance companies, insurance plans, insurance policies, and liability insurance


    • Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency


    • Knowledge of insurance planning and ability to liaise with insurance companies effectively
