We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Administrative Assistant in the finance industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. As an Administrative Assistant, your role will revolve around ensuring regulatory compliance, assisting with paperwork associated with insurance policies, annuities, and mutual funds, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the completion and submission of forms and documents for clients to insurance and financial companies
• Conduct follow-ups with these companies to confirm delivery and compliance
• Ensure strict adherence to SEC regulatory compliance
• Navigate seamlessly in a fast-paced environment with minimal training
• Manage inbound and outbound calls, providing top-notch customer service
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
• Schedule appointments and handle email correspondence proficiently
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Familiarize and handle tasks related to underwriting, paperwork, mutual funds, and annuities efficiently.
• Demonstrated proficiency in answering inbound calls, handling both customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Proven customer service skills, with an emphasis on building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Experience in data entry, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage email correspondence effectively, ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow-up.
• Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls, with the ability to manage multiple lines concurrently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently, ensuring no scheduling conflicts.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and underwriting principles within the financial or insurance industry.
• Experience in managing paperwork, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Understanding of financial products such as mutual funds and annuities, with the ability to explain these products to clients.
