Job Title: Vue.js Developer with PHP Laravel Experience (Contract to Hire)

Compensation: Up to $60/hour (Contract), $120,000/year (Full-Time Conversion)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Vue.js Developer with a strong background in PHP Laravel to join our growing team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that offers the chance to work on innovative and impactful projects in a fully remote environment. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building scalable, user-friendly applications using modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and back-end developers, to deliver high-quality web applications.
- Develop and maintain Vue.js-based front-end applications with a focus on clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Work with PHP Laravel for back-end development, ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Write robust, scalable, and secure code while adhering to best practices in web development.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across both front-end and back-end systems.
- Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery timelines.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the Vue.js and Laravel ecosystems.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Vue.js Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Strong experience with PHP and Laravel framework for back-end development.
- Deep understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (specifically Vue.js).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and experience building mobile-friendly applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a distributed team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional front-end technologies such as Nuxt.js or Vuex.
- Familiarity with other back-end frameworks or technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of modern build tools and workflows (Webpack, NPM, etc.).
