We are looking for a skilled Database Developer to join our team on a Contract basis in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining existing database systems to meet evolving business needs. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient and scalable solutions.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze and interpret business requirements to design and implement database solutions.<br>• Update and maintain legacy systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.<br>• Develop and optimize stored procedures and queries to improve database efficiency.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues.<br>• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support business operations.<br>• Implement and test system updates to enhance features such as late fee charging and payment processing options.<br>• Conduct discovery and demonstration phases to showcase proposed database changes.<br>• Ensure data integrity and security while performing system updates and modifications.<br>• Create and maintain documentation for database processes and changes.<br>• Participate in team meetings and provide insights to improve database workflows.
