    AI Risk Advisory Manager

    Location: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC

    Contract Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

    Pay Rate: $80 - $125 W2

    Anticipated Salary Upon Conversion: $160K - $310K base, 40% annual bonus target, 35% long-term incentive target

    Start Date: Immediate


    Job Overview

    We are seeking an AI Risk Advisory Manager to provide first-line risk management support for Enterprise Data and Analytics within Enterprise Technology. This role plays a critical part in ensuring AI solutions align with responsible use principles and sound risk management practices.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AI governance, risk frameworks, regulatory engagements, issue management, and key control development. They will serve as a trusted risk advisor, collaborating with leadership across technology, governance, and risk management teams to identify and mitigate emerging risks.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Risk Identification & Mitigation: Proactively assess existing and emerging risks, evaluate their impact, and support risk mitigation or acceptance strategies.
    • Leadership & Oversight: Lead a team of risk advisors executing risk control self-assessments, issue management, and other enterprise risk functions.
    • Governance & Compliance: Assist business leaders in identifying, assessing, and managing risks related to business processes and decisions, ensuring compliance with risk frameworks.
    • Performance & Risk Metrics: Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to drive effective risk management.
    • Change Management Support: Oversee risk implications for business and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation strategies are in place.
    • Audit & Regulatory Engagements: Provide oversight for open risk, audit, and regulatory issues, supporting remediation efforts and compliance with governance requirements.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with business unit leadership to report on risk trends, regulatory changes, and audit-related activities.


    Qualifications & Skills

    • Proven experience in AI governance and formal risk management processes
    • Strong background in risk frameworks, regulatory compliance, issue management, and key control development
    • Ability to assess, manage, and communicate risks effectively with senior leadership
    • Experience leading risk assessments, audits, and regulatory engagements
    • Strong analytical, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills

    Work Location:

    Hybrid – Candidates must be able to work on-site in Atlanta, GA, or Charlotte, NC as required.
