    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
    • Handle sales and use tax filings and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
    • Manage manufacturing and inventory accounting operations, ensuring proper tracking and reporting.
    • Collaborate with the VP of Finance to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
    • Utilize accounting software (In4 or similar systems) to maintain accurate financial records and streamline processes.
    • Supervise and guide document control procedures, including scanning and compiling essential financial documents.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in financial operations within the manufacturing sector.
    • Provide detailed financial reports and analyses to support decision-making and business strategy.
    • Maintain organized and secure documentation for auditing and regulatory purposes.
    • Develop and implement improvements to financial workflows and processes.
    • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong expertise in month-end close processes and financial reporting.
    • Proficiency in managing sales and use tax filings and regulatory compliance.
    • Solid understanding of manufacturing and inventory accounting practices.
    • Familiarity with accounting software such as In4 or equivalent tools.
    • Excellent document control skills, including scanning and compiling financial records.
