    We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Illustrator to support us on an urgent project requiring the creation of several technical illustrations. Our in-house designer is managing multiple priorities, and we’re in need of a contractor to assist with relatively straightforward illustration tasks. Ideal candidates should be skilled at producing high-quality technical illustrations and, if proficient in Adobe InDesign, assisting with layout tasks using a pre-defined template. This project involves creating illustrations and initial layout work, with the potential to renew engagement for future illustration and design needs.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop accurate and detailed technical illustrations based on provided references and specifications.
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure illustrations meet project expectations and standards.
    • (If applicable) Support layout design efforts using Adobe InDesign templates to organize text and illustrations into cohesive deliverables.
    • Efficiently handle revisions and feedback on illustrations and layouts.
    • Proven experience in technical illustration, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required).
    • (Preferred but not required) Experience using Adobe InDesign for layout design and working with templates.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce clean, professional illustrations.
    • Strong communication skills to interpret project needs and incorporate feedback effectively.
    • Ability to deliver high-quality work within a short turnaround time.
