    My client, a manufacturer in Hall County, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Controller to join their dynamic team in Hall County. The Controller role will support key manufacturing financial operations under the direction of the Head of Finance & Controlling. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing cost analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and driving process improvements to optimize operational efficiency.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain a standard costing approach, performing variance analysis with leadership
    • Harmonize labor and machine hourly rate calculations
    • Manage and report on capital expenditures monthly
    • Maintain and update cost center and work center data structures and settlement rules
    • Support the budgeting process, including COGS, operating expenses, and non-manufacturing costs
    • Oversee inventory management and monthly reporting on obsolete inventory
    • Lead accurate and timely closing procedures
    • Support balance sheet reconciliations and audits
    • Drive cost reduction initiatives and process improvements within the team
    • Support manufacturing accounting improvements and the application of accounting policies and procedures
    • Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support


    • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing finance or controlling role
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
    • Strong experience with SAP is highly preferred, however will consider another large ERP system
    • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets
    • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting deadlines
    • Ability to collaborate well with diverse teams and stakeholders
