We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in the Non-Profit industry, located in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will be handling a variety of financial tasks including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. MUST HAVE ADAPTIVE PLANNING EXPERIENCE!
Responsibilities:
• Utilizing Adaptive Insights and other budgeting and modeling tools for the development and maintenance of financial models.
• Processing and analyzing financial statements such as Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Facilitating bi-monthly meetings with budget owners across the network.
• Collaborating with different departments to develop budgets and projections for public and private funding.
• Conducting financial and operational analyses for cost-saving measures, vendor comparisons, and contract evaluations.
• Preparing grant reports and amendments for submission to funders and agencies.
• Working alongside operations staff to update monthly projections and ensure accurate forecasts.
• Implementing auditing measures and utilizing data mining techniques to maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Supporting the annual budget process through collaboration with school teams and network leadership.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a must.
• Proficiency in data mining techniques is required.
• Demonstrated experience in auditing is crucial.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with budget processes is necessary.
• Experience with Adaptive Insights is a significant advantage.
