    We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the legal industry. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, the role involves overseeing financial functions, managing general ledger activities and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the accounting processes.

    Responsibilities
    • Oversee and manage financial operations within the organization.
    • Utilize accounting software systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    • Take charge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    • Implement and manage auditing processes to maintain financial control and compliance.
    • Handle adjusting entries to maintain accurate financial records.
    • Manage billing functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Leverage your experience with SGA and non-profit operations to contribute to the organization's financial management.
    • Prepare tax documents, experience with form 990 is a plus.
    • Use ADP - Financial Services to manage and monitor financial activities.
    • Proven proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
    • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
    • Must have strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes
    • Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Auditing experience is a must-have
    • Must be able to handle billing functions efficiently
