Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative for a contract-to-hire role. This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week upon successful completion of training. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a rotating Saturday shift every fourth week. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service in the medical device industry.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries related to medical devices, including product information, order processing, shipping, and account management.
- Respond to customer emails, phone calls, and online chat inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist customers in troubleshooting and resolving issues with medical devices, escalating more complex problems to the appropriate departments when needed.
- Process and track orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to healthcare providers and patients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s product offerings, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information to customers.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and quality assurance to resolve customer concerns and improve service delivery.
- Document customer interactions and resolutions in the company’s database accurately and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to team initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction and streamlining processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, call centers, or related roles, ideally in the healthcare, medical device, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage difficult conversations and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with CRM software or customer support systems.
- Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM and be available every fourth Saturday.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid environment after training.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
