We are seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is based in Bloomington, MN. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Process customer credit applications accurately and promptly
• Manage and ensure the accuracy of customer credit records
• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed
• Oversee full-cycle accounts receivable operations
• Handle aging accounts and collections effectively
• Manage B2B collections and cash handling activities
• Prepare and maintain aging reports
• Perform other accounting functions as required
• Handle ad-hoc requests related to billing functions and cash activity.
• Proficient in Accounting Functions, with a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions
• Ability to effectively manage Cash Activity and Cash Handling
• Experience with B2B collections is highly desirable
• Comprehensive knowledge of Collections and Collections Management
• Proficiency in working with Aging Accounts and generating Aging Reports
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
