My client is a law firm looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team based in Fairfax, VA. The ideal Accounting Manager for this role will be responsible for supervising small staff, completing the month-end close process, preparing monthly account reconciliations, posting various journal entries, assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable, preparation of the financial statements, assisting with tax filings and other ad hoc projects as required. Daily responsibilities of the Accounting Manager include:
· Facilitate month-end close process.
· Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
· Post various journal entries.
· Prepare financial statements.
· Assist with other ad hoc duties.
The ideal Accounting Manager we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:
· 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
· Law firm experience, preferred.
· Strong communication skills.
