Robert Half Finance has an exciting direct-hire position available for an Accountant in Towson, MD. This role is great for candidates with prior construction accounting experience! This role offers room for growth, a dynamic team environment, and ability to handle special accounting projects.
Your responsibilities in this role include:
- Support the accounting team with day-to-day accounting responsibilities
- Job costing and WIP reporting
- Construction project accounting support
- Accounts payable, billing and receivable
- Invoice coding and review of credit card expense coding
- Prepare bank reconciliations
- Special projects as assigned
- Assist office in daily operational tasks
Requirements
- Experience working with accounts payable and receivable
- Job costing and WIP reporting experience required
- Reconciliation experience
- Superior communication skills required
- Experience working with accounting software
- Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred, but not required
