    We are offering a temporary employment opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer in Austin, Texas. As a Senior Network Engineer, your main duties will involve managing and improving our network infrastructure primarily focusing on Juniper Networks technologies.


    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize your expertise with Juniper Networks products, such as Juniper SRX & MX Series routers, Juniper EX Series switches, and Junos OS.

    • Handle the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Juniper networking devices to enhance performance, resolve issues, and guarantee seamless operation.

    • Work synergistically with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and resilient network solutions using Juniper technologies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

    • Implement and maintain robust security measures on Juniper devices, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies.

    • Showcase your understanding of the protocols surrounding IP service provider networks, including IP/Routing experience (OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS-TE, RSVP, LDP, IPv6, Routing Policy), routing protocol operation, migration, and scaling mechanisms, and VPNs and the associated tunneling technologies (MPLS,EVPN, L3VPN, VPLS).

    • Utilize your knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to design, deploy, and install internal and external networks.

    • Proactively utilize monitoring tools to identify and address network performance issues and continuously optimize network configurations to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.

    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.

    • Collaborate closely with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and contributing to the overall success of network-related projects.

    • Proficiency in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
    • Experience with Checkpoint technologies
    • In-depth knowledge of Cisco ASA
    • Familiarity with Cisco Routers and related technologies
    • Proficient in Cisco Technologies
    • Experience with AB Testing procedures
    • Ability to use and manage Backup Technologies
    • Strong understanding of Computer Hardware
    • Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management
    • Experience working in a Datacenter environment
    • Proficiency with Juniper Networks' products and solutions
    • Experience with Juniper Routers
    • Knowledge of Juniper technologies
    • Experience with Juniper Switches
