Our client is seeking a permanent fulltime Paralegal to join their real estate team in Atlanta, GA. Role will be focused on affordable housing, real estate transactions, tax credits, title and survey. You will work with financing entities such as Urban Residential Finance Authority, Atlanta Housing Opportunity, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and state tax credit agencies.

• Handle legal documentation for real estate transactions

• Engage in the processing and verification of title and survey

• Work on low-income housing tax credits and affordable housing projects

• Collaborate with various financing entities for affordable housing projects

• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation of all transactions

• Ensure compliance with regulations of Urban Residential Finance Authority and other housing departments

• Utilize your skills in Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) in relevant transactions

• Resolve any issues or concerns related to the transactions

• Monitor and manage the progress of each transaction

• Provide necessary assistance and support in other real estate transactions.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Paralegal in the legal industry.

• Proficiency in Low Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH).

• Solid understanding of legal procedures, terminology, and documentation.

• Strong research skills and the ability to analyze complex legal documents.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• High degree of detail oriented ethics and integrity.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in related field.

• Paralegal certification is preferred.
