We are recruiting for a mid-level to senior-level Desktop Support Analyst for an onsite contract to hire role in Appleton, WI. This is a great team that is growing due to demands and overall growth of their organization.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive desktop, printer, and overall device support
• Ensure excellent customer service while interacting with end users and internal staff at the plant
• Handle hardware and imaging related operations
• Work in a Microsoft environment, specifically with Windows 7 & 10, printers, specialized applications
• Manage and resolve escalated tickets together with the team
• Offer remote support as part of the role, ensuring timely and effective solutions
• Encourage independent research to come up with effective solutions
• Utilize the knowledge base and ticketing system to manage tasks and issues
• Work extensively with O365 in the Microsoft environment
• Ensure the proper functioning of PC Desktop - Workstations and Desktop Hardware.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in handling Desktop Hardware
• Familiarity with diverse operating systems and platforms
• Ability to diagnose and resolve software issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively assist staff with technical issues
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proven experience in a similar role within the Machinery Manufacturing industry
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and skills development in relevant areas
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT support or related field would be advantageous.
