We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Algonquin, Illinois, 60102, United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will be playing a crucial role in managing financial records, including sales, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate customer credit records and processing customer applications with efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Conduct regular account reconciliation tasks
• Manage bank reconciliations and report discrepancies
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain financial records in QuickBooks
• Execute month-end close processes
• Manage payroll functions ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Use Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting
• Attend to billing tasks, ensuring customers are billed accurately and on time
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when needed
• Demonstrable experience in Account Reconciliation is necessary
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Applicants must be well-versed in performing Bank Reconciliations
• Prior experience with Bookkeeping is a must-have skill
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency is essential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a key requirement for this role
• Experience in Month End Close operations is necessary
• Applicants must have experience in managing Payroll
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a necessary skill for this role
