We are on the lookout for a proficient HR Manager to become part of our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the administration of employee benefits and ensure their effective implementation.
• Generate and analyze reporting metrics to inform HR strategies and decisions.
• Regularly update and maintain the Employee Handbook in accordance with the latest policies and regulations.
• Act as a point of contact for employees for any HR-related queries and issues.
• Ensure all HR operations align with the current laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
• Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable voicing concerns and contributing ideas.
• Manage the performance appraisal system to drive high performance.
• Assess training needs and monitor training programs.
• 5 years of Human Resource experience
• Knowledge of New Mexico HR compliance
• Proven experience in Benefits Administration is mandatory for the role.
• Demonstrated ability to create, update, and maintain Employee Handbooks.
• Proficiency in Reporting Metrics is required to track and analyze HR data effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field or HR certification
• Strong leadership and team management skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
• Experience in conflict resolution and employee management.
• Knowledge of labor legislation and employment equity regulations.
• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business goals.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
