Data Security Analyst Job Description

Data security analysts must possess a thorough understanding of all aspects of computer and network security, including such areas as firewall administration, encryption technologies and network protocols. They manage, deploy, maintain and optimize software applications and must be skilled in Windows operating systems and common PC applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite. Analysts need strong analytical, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent judgment and self-motivation.
