Whether you’re thinking about changing jobs or pursuing an entirely new career path, we’d like to suggest that you consider exploring potential job opportunities at Robert Half.
Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions and business consulting firm. We’ve been around for a long time — more than 75 years — and we’ve seen a lot of change over those decades. One constant has been our focus on helping people connect with work that they find fulfilling and makes the best use of their skills and interests. That includes the people we hire for our own team.
Here are just five of many reasons to consider building your career at Robert Half — and why now is a great time to do so:
1. Possibility
At Robert Half, there are no limits to where hard work and talent can take your career. We strive to help all people within our company find their professional path and grow their skills and expertise by providing innovative projects and creating an engaging, supportive and inclusive work environment.
We give our employees the tools they need to succeed. With advanced technology and world-class training and skills development resources — including our library of thousands of online training courses, videos and books covering a wide variety of business and technical skills — our team members can learn continuously throughout their careers at our company.
It’s not uncommon to find professionals working at Robert Half who have been with our company for 10, 15, 20 years — or even longer. Many of these individuals have forged their own career path through different roles in our organization, and they work in locations across the globe.
Creating a workplace experience that allows us to attract and retain standout talent requires that we listen closely and frequently to what our employees have to say about that experience. That’s why we survey our employees regularly on various topics, including collaboration, manager support and organizational culture.
We have high participation rates for these surveys and have formal processes in place to respond to employee feedback and put it into action so we can keep growing and improving as a company.
2. Opportunity and purpose
Whether you’re on our talent solutions team or our corporate team at Robert Half, your work will change lives. You can help job seekers find their next great opportunity. You can help companies find the talent they need to fulfill their missions. Or you may be able to do both.
Another way we work to change lives, as a company, is by doubling the impact of our employees’ volunteering and charitable efforts. (You can get details on how we do that here.)
Through these initiatives and others, including our Holiday Giving program and Season of Service, we’re helping our employees drive positive change in their local communities and support causes they care deeply about. And we believe these efforts give our employees even more reason to feel proud to be part of the Robert Half team.
3. Stability and innovation
Sure, Robert Half has been around for a while (since 1948, to be exact), but that doesn’t mean we’re a company stuck in the past. Our teams are innovative and always prepared to tackle new challenges in today’s rapidly evolving business world, making us one of the best talent solutions providers out there.
But don’t just take our word for it. Consider, for example, that in April 2024, Fortune again named Robert Half to the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list. Protiviti, our global internal audit and consulting subsidiary, is included on the list. To determine the ranking, Great Place To Work® analyzed anonymous survey responses from more than 1.3 million employees from Great Place To Work Certified™ companies with at least 1,000 U.S. employees.
Each company is rated based on their employees’ perspectives on trust, ability to reach their full human potential, company innovation and values, and effectiveness of their leaders. The survey also explored how employees’ experiences varied based on their job role, gender, race and ethnicity, payroll status, and other characteristics to gauge companies’ success in building and sustaining an inclusive workplace.
Here are some of the other recent accolades Robert Half has earned:
- In 2024, Robert Half was recognized on TIME’s inaugural list of America's Best Midsize Companies. This accolade acknowledges exceptional performance in three crucial areas: employee satisfaction, revenue growth and sustainability transparency. The selection process involved a thorough analysis of U.S.-based companies with revenues between $100 million and $10 billion.
- In May 2024 and for the sixth consecutive year, Robert Half earned the top spot on Forbes’ annual ranking of America’s Best Professional Recruiting Firms. Forbes also recognized Robert Half as one of the top Temporary Staffing and Executive Recruiting Firms.
- In March 2023, Fortune named Robert Half and Protiviti to its inaugural list of Fortune® America’s Most Innovative Companies. - In February 2024, for the fourth consecutive year, Forbes recognized Robert Half as one of America’s Best Large Employers — and also named us the top-ranked staffing firm for the third year in a row. This annual ranking is based on an independent survey of approximately 170,000 participants from a wide range of companies with 1,000 or more employees in the U.S. Respondents were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their employer to friends and family, as well as other factors such as working conditions, potential for advancement and company image.

- Robert Half and Protiviti have again been selected by Fortune as two of the Best Workplaces for Millennials in 2024. To determine this prestigious list, Great Place to Work®analyzed survey responses from nearly 510,000 millennial professionals employed at Great Place to Work Certified™ companies.
- Also, last fall, Fortune named Robert Half to the highly competitive Fortune Best Workplaces for Women™ list. The annual list is based on a survey of more than 600,000 women who work for Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies. Employees shared feedback about their organization’s culture, including issues of equal representation, career growth, fairness, trust and camaraderie. In addition to survey responses, organizational demographics were considered. At Robert Half, women comprise 54% of the global workforce.
Additionally, in October 2023, we learned that Forbes had again named Robert Half one of the World’s Best Employers. This is Forbes’ most prestigious global employer accolade.
The annual list is based on an independent survey of nearly 170,000 employees in 55 countries. Respondents rate their employers in various areas, including image, trust, gender equality, corporate social responsibility, corporate culture and benefits.
Robert Half was also ranked first on the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area (500-plus+ employees) list, which the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Business Journal released in May 2023. The winning companies were those whose employees rated them highest on key dimensions, including communication and resources, manager effectiveness, team dynamics, individual needs, personal engagement, and trust in leadership.

5. Diversity, equity and inclusion
Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) are words we don’t take lightly at Robert Half. As a recruiting firm rooted in a 75-year history of putting ethics first, we have built strong programs to promote DEI in the workplace. Our founder, Bob Half, was dedicated to the idea of equal employment from the very start, lobbying against discriminatory hiring policies prevalent in the staffing industry at the time.
Our vision at Robert Half is to develop a corporate culture where all people can connect, thrive and grow. As a global organization, we recognize the importance of having a variety of backgrounds, perspectives and experiences represented throughout the company. This includes people of different ethnicities, races, religions, genders, sexual orientations, physical abilities, ages, educational backgrounds, social classes and beyond.
Robert Half is dedicated to those who have served our country. Learn more about Robert Half’s career services for veterans and military spouses.
We appreciate the diversity of our company and the communities in which we live and do business. Our employees strive to create relationships with each other, our candidates and clients, external organizations, and local community members to learn about the backgrounds of those we serve and support. This helps to create a dynamic and inclusive environment at Robert Half, where people feel welcome, are comfortable being themselves at work and embrace what makes each person unique.
We’re proud that our DEI efforts over the years have earned accolades for our company, including the following achievements in 2024:
- In April, Forbes named Robert Half and Protiviti to its Best Employers for Diversity list for the sixth consecutive year.
- Robert Half and Protiviti achieved top scores of 100 on the Disability Equality Index®, earning the distinction of being a 2024 Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.
- In January 2023, Robert Half and Protiviti were named to the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index for the fifth consecutive year.

Our DEI programs at Robert Half have always been shaped around the interests and priorities of our employees. Some recent examples include our employee network groups (ENGs), which are communities within our company organically created around a common purpose, interest or background. They include:
Black Employee Network (BEN)
BEN was the first ENG to form at our company. Three Robert Half employees organized and launched the group last summer. One co-founder of BEN said, “Being involved in BEN has been such a benefit to my employee experience. It’s connected me to colleagues I likely never would have interacted with … and involved me in projects that speak to my head and my heart, so I truly feel like I’m bringing my best self to work.”

Global Women’s Employee Network (GWEN)
GWEN, launched in March 2021, is helping us close the gender gap. Comprising 800-plus employees of Robert Half and Protiviti, GWEN’s mission is to champion and amplify women’s perspectives while creating networks, community, and growth opportunities for women. In a recent interview, one of the group’s co-founders said, “I’ve been fortunate to have women peers and leaders at Robert Half who have helped inspire me to be a better leader.”

Next step: Decide on your path
Now that you know more about our company and what we stand for, you may wonder what kind of career you can build with us.
Robert Half offers distinct career paths to help professionals reach their next goal, and you’ll be working with and learning from a very talented group of people. Our talent solutions teams specialize in various industries, while our corporate teams help our organization innovate and run at peak performance.
Talent solutions
If you like a fast-paced, engaging and rewarding work environment, recruiting may be the right career path for you. It’s hard work to develop your recruiting expertise and business at first. Still, our recruiters often say the best part of their job is placing a candidate in that perfect position — a win for the professional, hiring manager and us. And that’s not the only rewarding part: At Robert Half, we’ll help you climb the ranks of our talent solutions teams.
What industry interests you, or do you have experience in? Finance and accounting? Creative and marketing? Technology? Legal? What about administrative? Many of our professionals have backgrounds in these industries and have developed successful recruiting careers with little to no recruiting experience. So, you can use or develop your industry knowledge while working with and learning from the best in the industry.
Corporate services
Just because we’re a talent solutions company doesn’t mean everyone at Robert Half is a recruiting professional. We certainly wouldn’t have grown to be the largest specialized talent solutions firm in the world without our corporate services team, which offers various exciting career paths and opportunities across all business functions.
Our corporate services team makes it possible for our recruiters to place many thousands of people in permanent and temporary positions each year. Our business is constantly innovating, and our IT, human resources, marketing, finance and operational support teams work together to stay ahead of the competition and make our organization a great place to work.
Do you have the skills we’re looking for? Are you ready to take the next step in your career? If the answer is yes, we want you to apply!
Another good reason to build a career at Robert Half is the fact that … well … we’re experts on careers. We place hundreds of thousands of people in positions annually and help companies around the globe develop their businesses.
