    The Role

    As the Group Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of management accounting and take full ownership of the profit and loss (P&L) function. You will be responsible for key financial processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and handling some payroll queries.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts up to trial balance.
    • Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Manage accruals and prepayments.
    • Post journal entries accurately and efficiently.
    • Respond to and resolve payroll-related queries.
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

    We are looking for a highly motivated and career-driven individual with strong financial expertise and a keen interest in progressing within the business.

    Requirements:

    • Ideally fully qualified (or with no more than five exams left, having sat an exam recently).
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
    • A strong understanding of management accounting principles.
