    The immediate requirement has arisen for five Credit Controllers to join their team on an initial 12-month Fixed term Contract.

    • Job Title: Credit Controller
    • Start Date: ASAP
    • Duration: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
    • Location: Emersons Green
    • Salary: £26K - £29K
    • Working Pattern: 2 or 3 days in the office following on from an initial 3 month training pattern with the remaining days office based

    Key responsibilities in the role will include:

    • Optimising customer facing time to chase and collect overdue/missed payments via telephone, letter and email
    • Dealing with/solving queries on invoices with both internal departments and external customers
    • Supporting vulnerable customers and ensuring that all customers requiring additional assistance are aware of available options
    • Deliver a high level of customer service
    • Complying with relevant policies and procedures that will stand up to scrutiny from Internal and external Audit
    • Ability to build relationships at all levels, communicate effectively, build trust and influence stakeholders
    • Working alongside outsources and supplier partners to manage overdue/missed payments, debt and vehicle recovery (as required)
    • Maintain Continuous Personal Development (CPD) to stay up to date with relevant internal and external change

    Skills & Experience:

    • Previous experience managing customers in financial difficulty/ Credit Control role
    • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, report writing and presenting
    • Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
    • Self-motivated
    • Proven experience of working under pressure within a process driven role focused on daily KPI's
    • Develops others by sharing own experience and expertise
    • Judgement and commercial awareness
    • Strong background of delivering excellent customer service
    • Competent in Microsoft Office suite of applications e.g. Excel, Word

This is a newly created role and will play a pivotal position in navigating the business financially through the next period of growth.</p><p>A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual, this role requires an experienced Finance professional, who has experience working in a fast-growth SME environment.</p><p>Our client is based in central Bristol where you will be required on site 2 days per week.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities of the Financial Controller include but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop financial procedures and policies to support company growth, including revenue recognition and contract management.</li><li>Produce monthly management accounts, analyse variances, and ensure balance sheet controls and working capital management.</li><li>Oversee finance systems, advising on future strategy to reduce costs and improve efficiency.</li><li>Line management duties, advising on structure and expansion as the company grows.</li><li>Own and maintain the three-year forecast model, leading quarterly financial and cashflow forecasting.</li><li>Prepare board packs with key performance trends, KPI analysis, and financial/operational performance.</li></ul><p><strong>Your Profile:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience developing and implementing financial procedures and policies is essential.</li><li>Ability to work well in a change and fast-growth environment.</li><li>Proficient in analysing financial data, and interpreting trends.</li><li>ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.</li><li>Strong up to date understanding of regulatory requirements, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.</li><li>Strong leadership skills, able to manage, mentor and develop the finance team.</li></ul><p>In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £70,000 and £80,000 plus benefits including generous holiday allowance, private medical insurance, and more.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
