Robert Half are working with a leading Scottish business in Edinburgh to recruit a Bookkeeper/Finance Officer on a permanent, part-time basis (18-20 hours Tuesday-Thursday). Our client is looking for an all-rounded Bookkeeper who can roll their sleeves up and hit the ground running. Fully Office based in a newly refurbished office in Edinburgh city centre.

Key responsibilities:

The role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance of the business and liaise annually with the external accountant.

Full Purchase & Sales Ledger - low volume, high value
Bank reconciliations
Supplier statement reconciliations
Credit control
VAT returns
Oversee cashflow and report to the CEO
Administer payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing
Any other ad hoc dutiea

Must have:

Experience in a Bookkeeping or similar role
Sage line 50 - Essential
Pro-active attitude
Positive mind-set
Team player
