    About the Role

    This is a hands-on Financial Controller role that requires an exceptional accountant capable of delivering high-quality, complex management accounts while taking ownership of both the month-end and year-end processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Produce monthly data on the revenue and costs associated with the company's internal software development, ensuring numbers are reviewed and submitted in line with the month-end timetable.
    • Prepare complex journal entries.
    • Provide monthly reporting and commentary for the technology segment, including feeds for management packs.
    • Manage project setup and lifecycle to ensure internally developed software is accounted for accurately under US GAAP and local statutory reporting requirements.
    • Ensure the integrity of financial data by completing balance sheet reconciliations and supplying information for audit and SOX compliance purposes.
    • Work collaboratively within the finance team to identify and drive efficiencies, ensuring strong communication channels.
    • Build relationships with internal software development teams to gain a deeper understanding of the business and provide information and ad-hoc analysis to support day-to-day decision-making.
    • Line manage and develop the Fixed Asset and Service Financial Analysts.

    • An accountancy degree from an UK or US University.
    • Qualified accountant with experience in a listed company.
