    Bookkeeper
    Stroud, Gloucestershire (Office-based, 5 days per week)
    £26,000 - £27,000
    Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm)

    Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation dedicated to making a meaningful impact. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bookkeeper to join the team. This role is ideal for a junior-level finance professional looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.

    The position focuses on financial data processing, bookkeeping, and administrative support, ensuring the efficient and accurate management of financial records.

    Key Responsibilities

    Bookkeeping & Financial Processing

    • Process financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Generate and process sales invoices and purchase ledger transactions.
    • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with financial reconciliations.
    • Support payroll processing by preparing figures for approval.
    • Assist in preparing accounts for the management accounts stage.

    Administrative & Reporting Support

    • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
    • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and reporting.
    • Collaborate with other departments to streamline finance-related processes.

    Person Specification

    Essential Skills & Experience

    • Some experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounts administration.
    • Knowledge of sales ledger, purchase ledger, and reconciliations.
    • QuickBooks experience is essential.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to process financial data accurately.
    • Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

    What's On Offer
