    Accounts Payable Administrator (Huddersfield | Hybrid | Up to £28,000)

    Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator looking for your next opportunity?     About the Role
    As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will manage essential accounts payable functions such as matching and coding invoices, preparing BACS payments, reconciling supplier statements, and calculating VAT payments for the business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accurately process invoices and verify appropriate documentation and approvals.
    • Ensure invoice coding and classification aligns with accounting systems.
    • Set up new suppliers, including verifying payment details.
    • Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to address invoice issues.
    • Prepare weekly payment runs and process payments through online banking systems.
    • Record payments in cashbook and reconcile with bank statements.
    • Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
    • Support ad hoc finance-related projects as needed.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
    • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and systems.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with wider finance teams.
    • Proficiency in reconciling, coding, and handling large volumes of invoices.
