What You Will Do:
• Oversee and ensure accuracy of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, adhering to IFRS standards.
• Review financial documents and disclosures, ensuring they are ready for public release.
• Manage month-end close processes and prepare supporting working papers.
• Participate in consolidations, budget preparation, and tax reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate with auditors and handle deliverables for both internal and external audit requirements.
• Drive process optimization, improve reporting efficiencies, and support broader strategic projects.
• Maintain and strengthen the company’s internal controls over financial reporting.
What We Are Looking For:
• CPA designation with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in accounting.
• A minimum of 6 years of financial reporting experience, ideally in a publicly listed industry like mining or construction.
• Expertise in IFRS and financial reporting standards, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including advanced Excel skills (experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus).
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and the ability to meet stringent deadlines.
• Team-oriented professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
