    You will be responsible for working closely with and partnering with the Controllers from the organization's other divisions and learning how their roles tie in to the Corporate Controller role. You will be responsible for and take ownership of the accounting department and all financial reporting for the banks and ownership. If you understand deal financing this is a bonus, but you can also learn this on the job if you have interest.



    The ideal Corporate Controller is a CPA with at least 3+ years of audit experience mid to large size firm followed by 2-5 years of experience in industry. Construction and or development is an asset but not requisite. You have an entrepreneurial spirit complimented by a fantastic work ethic and desire to learn.


    The limits of this role will be determined by your ability, drive and desire. You must lead by example, meaning you are willing to 'roll up your sleeves' and do the work necessary so that you can role model and coach and mentor others, You must have excellent communication skills and have a high EQ which allow you to readily build relationships across different teams and organizations. You are proud and confident but have low ego. You want to earn the right to climb the ladder of success.
