We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a .Net Developer based in Toronto, Ontario. This role is integral to our team, with a primary focus on utilizing the .NET framework and Agile methodologies to develop and enhance our software solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture utilizing the .NET framework
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning and scrum meetings
• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
• Review and debug .NET applications
• Collaborate with team members to implement .NET solutions
• Improve system performance by conducting regular software audits
• Collaborate with stakeholders on software solutions through Agile methodologies.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a .Net Developer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET is required
• Experience working in Agile development methodologies is a must
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Ability to write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
• Experience with design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller)
• Familiarity with .NET languages such as C#, Visual Basic .NET, and HTML5/CSS3
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
