    Our client in Calgary is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Telecom Billing Admin - Consultant I (CAD) with experience in intermediate Excel and About Time to join their team on a contract basis. As a Telecom Billing Admin, you will be responsible for managing telecom billing processes, ensuring data accuracy, and working with various systems to provide timely, high-quality support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process and manage telecom billing data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all entries.
    • Utilize Excel to analyze and manipulate data, create reports, and generate insights as needed.
    • Maintain and manage billing schedules, working to meet deadlines and handle discrepancies.
    • Use About Time software to track and manage time entries, ensuring they are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to address any billing-related issues or inquiries.
    • Support the implementation of new billing processes, procedures, and tools as required.
    • Monitor and track billing metrics to ensure timely and efficient processes.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to telecom billing systems and related software tools.
    • Maintain documentation of processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
    • Ad-hoc duties as requested.


    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in telecom billing or a related field.
    • Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas).
    • Experience with About Time or similar time-tracking software is a must.
    • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and timely reporting.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with telecom billing processes and systems is preferred.
    • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
    • Available to start immediately.
