Are you an experienced CPA with a strong background in financial reporting and complex accounting tasks? Robert Half is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to assist our client during a 5-month project engagement. In this role, you will play a critical part in the financial statement close process and handle specialized tasks such as stock-based compensation accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Lead or support month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
Stock-Based Compensation:
- Manage and account for stock-based compensation transactions, including valuation, expense recognition, and disclosures.
Reconciliation & Analysis:
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses to ensure data integrity.
Consolidation:
- Provide support for quarterly financial consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
Requirements:
- CPA designation (required).
- Previous experience in public accounting (audit) OR stock-based compensation accounting (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
