We are seeking an Accountant to join our team in the Food & Food Processing industry, based in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and executing our accounting functions. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the process of receiving invoices and entering them into the system, ensuring they align with Purchase Orders and Receipts.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable function, which involves processing approximately 75-100 transactions weekly.
• Manage the Accounts Receivable function, including the collection process.
• Be responsible for the issuance of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) cheques.
• Conduct reconciliation of three General Ledgers.
• Use Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for efficient financial management.
• Implement Cl Programming and utilize ADP - Financial Services and Concur for various accounting functions.
• Perform auditing tasks and manage Balance Sheet Account.
