Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required as well as practical experience in wireless equipment, standards, protocols, and WLAN design. Employers usually seek a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent work experience), plus five or more years’ experience with enterprise-level wireless LAN support and technologies in a multivendor environment.
