This role provides support for customer and/or internal wireless LAN network operations, performs maintenance and security implementations, and collaborates with key team members to provide strategies for better systems performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required as well as practical experience in wireless equipment, standards, protocols, and WLAN design. Employers usually seek a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent work experience), plus five or more years’ experience with enterprise-level wireless LAN support and technologies in a multivendor environment.
