The Business Systems Analyst (Technology) plays a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within Canadian organizations. This role leverages an in-depth understanding of both business processes and technology to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement systems that improve efficiency and achieve business objectives.

Typical Business Systems Analyst Duties:

Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement through process mapping, interviews, and data analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, IT professionals) to understand business needs, requirements, and pain points. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers and IT teams. Design, document, and prototype potential solutions using user stories, wireframes, or other tools. Select and evaluate technology solutions (software applications, integrations) that align with business needs and technical feasibility. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for assigned business systems analysis projects. Work with developers and IT teams during system development, testing, and implementation. Conduct user training and provide ongoing support after system implementation. Analyze and monitor system performance, identifying opportunities for further optimization.
