Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risk
- Oversee cash management, banking relationships, and tax filings
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic initiatives
- Manage and mentor accounting team members, fostering a culture of continuous development
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies and goals
- Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders
- CPA designation is required
- 10+ years experience as a Controller
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial management software; advanced Excel skills are a plus
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term goals and short-term deadlines
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to accuracy and excellence
- Able to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment
