About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you will lead change management, restructures, and employee relations, collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive strategic HR initiatives.
Duties
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide HR support across multiple teams.
- Working on strategic HR initiatives and organisational transformation.
- Providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations as well as support on industrial relations matters, including negotiations, dispute resolution, and compliance with relevant legislation and agreements.
- Assisting senior leaders in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, helping navigate complex people and performance issues to minimise risks and maximise productivity.
- Coaching managers and leaders on effective people management practices.
- Leading and supporting change management initiatives, including restructures and redundancies, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Driving workforce planning and talent management strategies.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve HR processes and operational efficiencies.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years' experience in a HR BP role supporting senior stakeholders.
- Strong business partnering skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and various teams.
- Experience in an NFP environment (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to hit the ground running, demonstrating quick adaptability and strong initiative.
- Knowledge and understanding of SCHADS award would be beneficial.
- Onshore experience in Australian employment practices.
- Ability to adapt communication and management style to work effectively with diverse executives and teams.
- Experience in supporting stakeholders and working closely with staff to achieve positive outcomes.
- A strong team player with the ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment.
- Must hold a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Check.
