As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting the various solution and performing proof of concepts, improving user experience and enhancing client's adoption of HashiCorp Vault. You will be able to think analytically and will get plenty of opportunities to solve problems which have not been solved before. If you have strong client focus, excellent communication skills, team-player mindset, and willingness to go up and beyond in embracing technologies, this is the role for you.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and capabilities:

Experience in developing solution & performing POC to automate the provisioning of various workloads to HashiCorp Vault.

Experience in developing, deploying and client adoption of HashiCorp Vault

Strong technical knowledge HashiCorp Terraform OS/Enterprise is desirable

Proficiency in scripting language - Python, Bash

Experience in one or more of the major public clouds, AWS is desirable

Experience with continuous integration tools like Bamboo, Jenkins

Experience with system monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Grafana, AppDynamic, Splunk, CloudWatch).

Proficiency with concepts and technologies used in software development, operations, security, cloud, microservices, containers, and scheduling platforms

Strong security focus (Experienced running high-integrity systems, always designs with security in mind)

Experience in Agile development processes and a DevOps culture.

A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and the ability to self-manage.

Strong troubleshooting skills and a creative problem-solving ability.

AWS certified Solutions Architect Associate (will be advantageous )

AWS certified SysOps Administrator or Security Specialist (will be advantageous)

In this role, you will be

Engaging in the design of solutions, executing crucial proofs of concept, crafting detailed design documentation, and creating onbaording guides for HashiCorp Vault customers.

Implementing automation for routine operational activities and creating solutions for client self-service provisioning.

Working closely with the Product Owner and key technical stakeholders to enhance provisioning workflows and increase adoption rates and defining priorities.

Engineering / operating HashiCorp Vault instance across multiple AWS regions

Engineering / deploying / configuring Vault deployments using secure pipelines and terraform

Developing custom vault plugins as required
