An Application Support professional is responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across a business. Typical responsibilities and duties include:  Troubleshooting and responding to user-reported issues and incidents related to software applications.  Continuously monitoring the performance of applications (and tuning their performance where required) to ensure they function optimally.  Delivering customised training to end-users about how to use applications effectively.  Conducting application maintenance and updates to address bugs, enhance functionality and improve security.
