By running a thorough business review process and taking on an advisory role, expert recruiters at Robert Half consulted with the company to help them identify the two role types most suited to their specific business needs. These roles included a Senior Network Engineer and a Systems Engineer.
By undertaking an extensive search through our recruitment channels, Robert Half was able to present the client with four pre-vetted candidates for each role within one week. The candidates were able to meet the client’s requirement to engage in an entire IT infrastructure build from the ground up. After a second interview, the client extended an offer to their preferred candidates the following week.

The Systems Engineer conducted a full review of the company’s internal IT infrastructure and implemented a plan for installing, configuring, and maintaining company operating systems, software and system management tools.
Through a program of ongoing testing, issues management and problem-solving, the work of the Systems Engineer ensured the highest level of system performance and infrastructure availability.
The Senior Network Engineer has improved the efficiency of the company’s networks by designing and implementing new network solutions for the business. Specific tasks included installing and configuring network equipment, investigating faults, configuring firewalls and regularly upgrading network equipment to maximise performance.
The Senior Network Engineer has also improved the internal network to improve the speed of connections for the company’s insurance brokers. For example, access to vital business tools is quicker and emails are now much faster.
Following the successful placement of these two six-month contractors, Robert Half was tasked with finding the company’s IT support team an application support resource and an entire infrastructure team, highlighting the positive long-term relationship that has been established with the client.
