Support for our community
Whether it’s running a solo marathon by an employee to raise money for the Cancer Council, or a field office offering mock interviews and mentoring advice to students – Robert Half is a company that actively gives back to its community.
What does corporate social responsibility mean to Robert Half?
For many years, employees at Robert Half have supported numerous charities across New Zealand and around the world, through both individual efforts and team activities. To demonstrate how integral community service is to Robert Half, we offer every employee two days of paid leave each year to volunteer for a nominated charity.
Time to Give
Local involvement
Robert Half encourages our employees to take the lead through volunteer work and fundraising activities that support the issues that matter most to them personally. Every year, each part- and full-time employee can have their donations and volunteer hours matched up to $1,500 USD.
Make a Wish
Make a Wish is a global charity that grants wishes to critically ill children. Robert Half has organised global events across 19 countries to help raise money for this incredible institution.
Daffodil Day
Staff from Robert Half’s Auckland office collected public donations in support of Daffodil Day. Each year on the last Friday of August, over 9,000 volunteers nationwide in New Zealand collect donations for the Cancer Society with funds going towards providing free support services, information and cancer research.
EcoMatcher
Robert Half has partnered with EcoMatcher, a Certified B corporation, to purchase and plant 1,000 trees in Bektel, Indonesia. Through this program, the team have had a direct impact on the local community and the environment, including supplying local farmers with work, supporting the local biodiversity, and sequestering over 15,000 kgs of carbon to reduce Robert Half’s carbon footprint.
St. Baldrick’s Foundation
For the second year in a row, staff from Robert Half’s Asia Pacific region shaved their heads to support the fight against children’s cancer at an event hosted in Hong Kong. In total, Robert Half donated US$35,000 to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation towards research efforts.
