The Role

As the Infrastructure Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operations and performance of IT infrastructure services. You'll oversee a wide range of critical systems, including telephony and mobile services, networking, security infrastructure, and cloud/data center environments. This position involves vendor management, capacity planning, performance optimization, and leading a team of skilled IT professionals, all while ensuring these systems align with the company's strategic goals. Additionally, you'll lead disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring business continuity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team responsible for IT infrastructure services, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Manage telephony and mobile services to ensure seamless organizational communication.
• Oversee wired and wireless networking infrastructure, enhancing performance, scalability, and security.
• Optimize compute and storage resources across cloud, data centres, and on-premises environments for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure IT infrastructure meets operational demands through capacity planning, performance monitoring, and resource allocation.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and execution to safeguard business operations in case of disruptions.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver reliable, secure infrastructure services that align with business needs.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure, including telephony, networking, cloud services, data centers, and security infrastructure.
• Proven track record in vendor management, including contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Leadership experience, including guiding teams to achieve technical and operational goals.
• Strong knowledge of remote access technologies, disaster recovery planning, and IT infrastructure performance metrics.

Desired Technical Skills

• Expertise in networking (wired/wireless), cloud (Azure, AWS), and data center technologies.
• Industry certifications, such as Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), AWS, Azure, or ITIL.
• Familiarity with IT service management tools and methodologies.
• Background in implementing performance optimization and capacity planning strategies.
• Proficiency in security best practices and risk mitigation within IT infrastructure.
