- Following strong expansion and ambitious goals (2x revenues by 2028), our client is now hiring one (1) new Sr. Manager to lead strategic commercial growth in Japan, while collaborating with a global sales strategy team of 10+ across three continents.
The Role
- Work closely with local and global executive teams to develop, orchestrate and implement effective top-line growth strategies to expand market share in Japan, in alignment with the company's global goals.
In particular:
- Develop and spearhead effective GTM strategies; localize global commercial strategy inputs, and adapt them effectively to local market dynamics
- Analyze metrics, data, and market trends to identify opportunities and recommend strategic actions
- Partner closely with local, regional and global leadership to evolve segmentation and coverage model, in alignment with global GTM strategy
- Own annual commercial plan, incl. territory and quota planning to maximize revenue performances
- Develop key relationships and partner with internal stakeholders across commercial operations, finance, IT, enablement and others
Your Skills
- 5-8 years of experience in GTM strategy, revenue operations, commercial strategy or similar areas, acquired either in a corporate capacity at a B2B software company, or in strategy consulting with project exposure to software products
- Experience across strategy, analytics and commercial strategy design
- Good team player, able to work independently, and effectively interact with a variety of internal stakeholders, both locally (Japanese speakers) and globally (English speakers) at different levels of seniority
- Strong fluency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, with solid data manipulation skills, and ideally proficient with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies is a plus
- Native or Fluent Japanese speaker (JLPT-N1 is a must for non-native applicants) able to confidently conduct business in English (frequent global communication with teams in AUS, UK and SEA)
